I’m Sarah Sha (formerly Sarah Smith): A researcher, strategist, and designer specializing in the future of food.

I’ve shaped a global foundation’s strategy for affordable nutrition, built a grocery store designed for microbes, hosted a “cocktails from the future” party for 50 dairy farmers, researched food as climate action, and taught thousands of people how to think more creatively about the future.

I’m currently the Director of Strategy at KitchenTown, a food startup incubator that equips food innovators with the knowledge and resources needed to collaborate in a global shift toward better food.
