I’m a visual and experience designer who brings the future of food to life.
I design compelling communications, create speculative futures, and facilitate workshops to teach others to do the same.
Cocktails from the Future
Five classic cocktails reformulated to tell a story about the future of food.
Microbe Mart
A pop-up installation that reimagined what a corner store would look like if all the products were designed with microbes in mind.
Artifacts from the Future of Food
Images of the future make abstract ideas about the future concrete. Part of my foresight research practice includes creating images that allow viewers to really consider what it might look and feel like to live in a particular future. These images become a starting point for strategic conversations: if these are futures we want, how can we start making them? If not, what alternatives should we create?
I’ve been doing this since I was a kid.
When I was seven years old, I made drawings of everyday objects redesigned with new features. Since then, I haven’t stopped asking “what if?” and imagining ways the world around me could be radically different than it is today.
